Cypress Women Stretch Unbeaten Streak to 69

Cypress extended its unbeaten streak to 69 games Tuesday with a 5-1 victory over Riverside in an Orange Empire Conference women’s soccer game at Riverside.

Breane Crowley, Alie Nunez, Tymarie Novak, Harmoni Vasquez and Tiffany Dinoso scored for the Chargers (16-0, 6-0).

Irvine Valley 4, Santiago Canyon 1--Julie Welc, Jennifer Lambrecht, Maribel Garcia and April Tamez scored for visiting Irvine Valley (8-5-2, 5-1). Patty Romano had one goal and Alisa Morrow made eight saves for Santiago Canyon (4-6-1, 2-4).

Orange Coast 5, Golden West 0--Christina Guerin scored twice and Kristen Hamman had a goal and an assist for Orange Coast (9-5-1, 4-2).

Santa Ana 7, Fullerton 0--Ana Velazquez and Carrie Steinmeyer scored two goals each for host Santa Ana (8-4-3, 4-2), which led, 5-0, at the half.

Irvine Valley 5, Santiago Canyon 0--Yigal Kerzenbaum scored twice, including the first goal of the game in the seventh minute, for Irvine Valley (7-6-2, 3-3). Kerzenbaum’s second goal, in the 51st minute, put the Lazers up 3-0.

Orange Coast 2, Golden West 0--Jesus Cervantes had a goal and assist and Aaron Siemers scored a goal for host Orange Coast (8-2-4, 4-1-1).

Santa Ana 4, Fullerton 0--Roberto Fuentes scored two goals for the visiting Dons (11-0-3, 6-0). Fullerton is 5-4-4. 2-2-1.
