Golf Marathon Will Benefit Junior Players

Larry Atlas, assistant pro at Robinson Ranch, will present his fourth PGA Golf Marathon to benefit junior golf on Oct. 30 at the course in Canyon Country.

Atlas and other pros from Southern California will play 100 holes from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

* Tryouts for the Zuma Bay Volleyball Club girls’ 12-and-under and 14-and-under teams are scheduled for Nov. 5 from 1-3 p.m. at Simi Valley Adventist School.

Players trying out for the club’s 16-and-under team with last names beginning with A through M are scheduled for 5:30-8 p.m. at Thousand Oaks High. For players with last names beginning with N through Z, tryouts are scheduled for 7:30-10 p.m. at Thousand Oaks.
