By winning the Western State Conference mini-tournament in Santa Barbara on Monday, College of the Canyons clinched the conference women’s golf title.

Canyons shot 317, followed by Moorpark at 340 and Santa Barbara at 376.

Sharon Foster leads WSC women’s volleyball with 18 service aces and 142 digs. Teammate Anna Kartiala is second in digs with 85.

Antelope Valley: Women’s volleyball Coach Jane Cwayna’s bid to reach 200 career victories will fall short by at least one this season after the Marauders lost in three games to San Bernardino on Wednesday night.

Cwayna has a 193-133 record in 20 seasons with the Marauders (3-10), who have six matches remaining.

Glendale: Oscar Limon is among five men’s soccer players with two or more goals in WSC play. Limon, a freshman from Poly High, has two goals.

Moorpark: Russell Prior has three goals and teammate Erik Neri has two for the men’s soccer team in WSC play. Prior ranks No. 3 in scoring in the conference with six points, Neri is tied for fourth with four points.

Oxnard: Eba Campos leads the WSC in women’s soccer with 68 saves.

Valley: Julie Olson is tied for fifth in women’s water polo scoring in the state with 66 goals. Teammate Shelly Stiles is tied for 17th with 46.

Ventura: Elena Salvador leads WSC women’s volleyball with a .422 kill percentage.
