Robbie Dubois ran for 195 yards and two touchdowns, and Billy Hart threw for three scores, leading Mission Viejo to a 35-0 South Coast League victory over host Trabuco Hills Friday night.

Dubois, the county’s second-leading rusher with 1,523 yards, gained his 195 yards on just 19 carries. Hart connected on touchdown passes of 26, nine and 76 yards, giving him 13 on the season.

Dubois did most of his damage in the first quarter for the Diablos (6-2, 3-0). The junior capped a six-play, 65-yard opening drive with a 26-yard run.

On Mission Viejo’s next possession, Dubois raced 74 yards to the Trabuco Hills 12-yard line.

The Diablos failed to score that time, but Dubois scored his second touchdown late in the first quarter on a one-yard blast, giving him 156 yards after 12 minutes. Dubois’ rushing total could have been higher, but he played just one series in the second half.

Hart’s touchdown passes went to Jason Hibbard and Collin Ashton in the second quarter and Wyatt Kraft in the third period.

After that, Coach Bob Johnson let his reserves finish out the game.

The Mustangs struggled on offense, their deepest penetration being the Diablo 33-yard line.

The lone bright spot was reserve running back Greg Tenuta, starting in place of Daniel Tellez, who is out for the year with a knee injury. Tenuta rushed for 97 yards in 19 carries.
