Ventura 39, Valley 32--Taru Dailey passed for 285 yards and two touchdowns for the Pirates (3-4, 2-2) in a WSC Northern Division victory at Ventura.

Dailey completed 13 of 22 passes and threw for touchdowns of 41, 34 and 21 yards. Two of those scores went to Aaron Neal, who finished with five catches for 113 yards.

Valley (1-6, 1-3), squandered a 17-0 lead and botched an opportunity to pull ahead when Dallas Enoch’s pass was returned 40 yards for a touchdown by Drakus Langford to give Ventura a 39-26 lead with 1:50 remaining.

Enoch completed 12 of 30 passes for 217 yards. J’Von Leong caught five passes for 134 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown pass play that pulled the Monarchs to within 30-24 with 9:47 left.
