OUTLOOK

Running back Iman Nikzad will be sorely missed, unless Sutton meets the challenge of replacing Nikzad’s 6.2 yards per carry average and 15 touchdowns. The Wolverines’ greatest offensive potential is with their receivers, Molinski, Hawthorne and Ruiz, and their top college prospect, tight end Alconcel. Smith and Latimer return at quarterback, but the young offense will rely heavily on a talented and deep--but unproven--offensive line. If an athletic group of junior linebackers comes through, the Wolverines should be a good defensive team, given their existing talent in the secondary and on the line.
