Hart will open the season ranked No. 3 in the state by Cal-Hi Sports.

The Indians, who return many top players from last season’s 14-0 squad that won the Southern Section Division III title, were ranked behind No. 1 Concord De La Salle and Long Beach Poly.

Westlake, defending Southern Section Division IV champion, was ranked No. 17 overall and No. 1 among Division II schools in the state. Buena was ranked No. 7 in Division II.

St. Bonaventure, defending Southern Section Division XI champion, was ranked No. 1 among Division IV schools in the state. Defending section Division XII champion Paraclete, which plays St. Bonaventure on Thursday, was ranked No. 3.
