OUTLOOK

Two-time defending champion Rosamond figures to again be the class of the league, with Bishop and Kern Valley challenging. Mojave and Desert each began last season 7-0 and can’t be discounted. It would be a major accomplishment if Vasquez or Frazier Mountain, both under first-year coaches, can earn a playoff spot.

SCOUTING REPORT

FRAZIER MOUNTAIN

TB-OLB Alex Cook, a standout on the soccer team, will get most of the carries. Jr. Adam Reyna, in his first season at QB, looked promising in summer league.

VASQUEZ
