Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Pickup Truck

GRANADA HILLS — A 33-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he crashed into a pickup truck on the Golden State Freeway, the California Highway Patrol said Friday.
Travis Shrock of Santa Clarita was heading north on the freeway near Balboa Boulevard when he struck the truck about 9:20 p.m. Thursday, CHP Officer Frank Sansone said.
Shrock was traveling 65 mph to 75 mph when the truck changed lanes and got in front of him, Sansone said. He was pronounced dead at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia.
