Jason Burkhart had seven catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns, and Jason Hogan had five catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Hogan had three carries for 46 yards and one touchdown.

The Falcons (3-0) ranked No. 6 in the region by The Times, finished with 355 yards.

That offset a brilliant performance by Chris Delung of Simi Valley, who ran 52 times for 255 yards and scored three touchdowns.

They were the first three touchdowns of the season for Simi Valley (0-3), which was outscored, 82-0, in its first two games.

Delung had 30 carries for 139 yards in the first half.

The Pioneers, who had only 123 yards in their first two games, finished with 285 yards.

“When I was at San Gorgonio, we had a guy carry it 428 times in a season, “ said Coach Steve Carroll of Simi Valley. “But that is a lot of carries.”
