Montclair Prep 21, Beaumont 0--Gary Sonkur had 208 yards and two touchdowns in 15 carries and intercepted a pass at Valley College.

Sonkur was held to 13 yards in five carries in the first quarter, but broke loose for scoring runs on 35 and 61 yards in the second quarter to give Montclair Prep (3-0) a 14-0 halftime lead.

Jason Spratt scored the on a 67-yard pass play from Jason Goss in the fourth quarter.

The Mounties forced four turnovers and held the Cougars (1-2) to 169 yards.

Campbell Hall 33, Malibu 28--Matt Kaplan completed eight of 20 passes for 196 yards and four touchdowns to pace Campbell Hall at Santa Monica College.

Derrick Williams had touchdown receptions of 57 and 33 yards for Campbell Hall (2-0). He finished with three receptions for 86 yards and picked off two passes.

Blake Lichpig had 13 carries for 34 yards and two catches for 82 yards, including a 60-yard scoring reception, for Campbell Hall.

J.D. Washington, son of actor Denzel Washington, had 33 yards in 12 carries with one touchdown for Campbell Hall.

John Heinonen led Malibu (0-2-1) with four completions in eight passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

Malibu committed seven second-half turnovers.

San Marino 27, Harvard-Westlake 14--The Wolverines gave up the final three touchdowns, including runs of 31 and 79 yards by Andrew Starnes, at San Marino.

Harvard-Westlake (0-3) took a 14-7 lead on Robert Lowenthal’s two-yard run midway through the third quarter.

The Titans (2-1) responded with a nine-play, 53-yard drive that culminated with quarterback Charlie Grimes’ two-yard scoring run.

Harvard-Westlake opened the scoring in the second quarter on a four-yard run by Lowenthal that capped an eight-play, 72-yard drive.
