7:30 TONIGHT MISSION VIEJO HIGH
Each team is coming off a big victory. Huntington Beach, having given up 80 points in its first two games, won for the first time in nearly a year by beating Capistrano Valley, 17-0. The Oilers hope Russell Oschman didn’t wear himself out when the senior carried the ball 50 times for 268 yards and a touchdown. Mission Viejo held the county’s third-leading rusher, Laguna Hills’ Matt Chandler, to 71 yards last week and now gets the county’s second-leading rusher in Oschman. Huntington Beach hopes this game can help prepare it for Sunset League play.
