The St. Margaret’s football team has been having trouble getting its offense going, and its first series against winless Saddleback Valley Christian, a first-year program, was no different. 1-2-3-punt.

But after that, the Tartans hit overdrive, scoring on their next three possessions and cruising to a 42-0 nonleague victory on their home field Friday afternoon.

On the first play of St. Margaret’s second possession, Ryan Bircher bolted 69 yards for a touchdown.
