Junior Albert Miller, who was expected to join Big West player of the year Jerry Green in the UC Irvine backcourt next season, is leaving the Anteater men’s basketball program after one season.
Miller, a 6-foot-3 guard, transferred to Irvine from Los Angeles College last summer. He averaged 2.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 10 minutes in 26 games for the Anteaters last season.
In a statement released by the school, Miller said he was leaving “to find a better fit at another school where I can receive more playing time.”
