Eight Teams Reach National Championships
Eight Southern California teams will be in a field of 96 at the 2001 Amateur Softball Assn. 16-and-under Under-16 National Fastpitch Championships today through Sunday in Normal, Ill.
The Southland teams are the Simi Valley Ballistic, Claremont Batbusters, Southern California Impact from Fullerton, American Gold Athletics from Laguna Beach, Yorba Linda Invasion, and Gordon’s Panthers, the California Cruisers and the Case Batbusters, which are based in Santa Ana.
