Two men suspected of staging a home robbery in which a man was shot in the head were arrested early Thursday, authorities said.
Huntington Beach police found Vincent Guy Felix, 42, and Justin Todd Enlow, 33, about 1:45 a.m. at separate homes in San Jacinto.
The two men allegedly entered the home of Felix’s 46-year-old sister in the 21000 block of Leisure Lane early Tuesday morning with at least one handgun.
Felix allegedly shot a 47-year-old male resident in the head more than once with the small-caliber weapon, but the man had only minor injuries, Lt. Chuck Thomas said.
Felix’s sister was treated for a superficial head wound, possibly caused by a blow, authorities said, adding that they believe robbery was the motive.
The victims’ names were not released.
An investigation led detectives to San Jacinto, where Enlow lives. Felix’s last known address is in Riverside County.
Both men were in custody at Huntington Beach Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail each.
Property stolen from the home was still missing, authorities said.
