Three people were under arrest Tuesday after a drive-by shooting in South-Central Los Angeles that left one person dead, authorities said.
The shooting took place around 1:15 p.m. at the 4200 block of 28th Street, said Lt. Clay Farrell of the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division.
"Undercover investigators were conducting an investigation into narcotics sales in that area," when the shooting took place, Farrell said.
The undercover officers and others arrested three people. Police were searching the neighborhood near 22nd Street and Western Avenue for a possible fourth suspect, Farrell said.
The identities of the suspects and the victim were not disclosed.
