Crescenta Valley 1, Hoover 0--Meredith Cervenka (23-1) pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts for the Falcons (24-1, 9-0), ranked No. 1 in The Times’ regional poll, in a Pacific League game at Hoover (12-13, 4-5).

Valencia 5, Canyon 0--Torri Rocco (15-3) threw a two-hitter and struck out eight to help the Vikings clinch a share of their first Foothill League title at Canyon.

Lauren Watson had three hits, two runs batted in and scored once for No. 3 Valencia (22-4, 9-0).

Thousand Oaks 2, Royal 1--Sheridan Fowler’s home run in the 11th inning gave the No. 6-ranked Lancers (20-5, 10-1) a Marmonte League victory at Thousand Oaks.

High School Baseball

Valencia 4, Canyon 1--Danny Braun’s two-run double in the ninth inning broke a 1-1 tie and enabled Valencia (16-9, 9-5) to clinch second place in the Foothill League.

Kyle Wilson (6-3) pitched three shutout innings of relief. Robert Herrick limited Canyon (14-9, 8-6) to an unearned run in six innings. Jake Coash (8-2) went 8 2/3 innings for Canyon, striking out nine.

Granada Hills 7, El Camino Real 5--Ryan Braun had two hits and three RBIs for the Highlanders (19-8, 9-4) in a West Valley League game at El Camino Real.

Cleveland 5, Birmingham 4--Steve Boyer’s run-scoring single in the seventh inning lifted Cleveland (18-10, 5-8) in a West Valley League game at Birmingham (19-9, 8-5).

Crespi 7, Loyola 2--Dale Legaspi (6-3) scattered four hits and struck out eight and the Celts (16-9, 7-4) clinched a playoff berth in a Mission League game at Crespi.

Boys’ Tennis

Pacific View League individual tournament--Jason Mossembekker of Camarillo defeated Khai Nguyen of Rio Mesa, 6-4, 6-3, in the championship match at Camarillo.
