* Michael Bolio of North Torrance scored on runs of nine, seven and five yards, caught a 74-yard touchdown pass and returned a punt 63 yards for a score in North Torrance’s 57-22 victory over South Torrance.

* Bryan Licht of Temecula Chaparral completed 24 of 30 passes for 378 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for a touchdown in a 51-43 victory over Hemet.

* Ben Bandel of Murrieta Valley caught the go-ahead touchdown pass with 53 seconds left and preserved the lead with a sack with 14 seconds left in a 19-14 victory over Temescal Canyon.

* Eric McNeal of Gardena Serra returned an interception 54 yards for a touchdown, returned a punt 43 yards for a touchdown and scored on a one-yard run in a 38-17 victory over West Hills Chaminade.

* Dennis Legaspi of San Pedro Mary Star rushed for 368 yards in 39 carries and scored four touchdowns in Mary Star’s 41-29 victory over Cantwell-Sacred Heart.

UPSETS

* San Pedro defeated Carson, 13-3.

San Pedro ended a four-game losing streak by knocking off the previously unbeaten Colts, who have played in the City Section final two years in a row.

* San Bernardino defeated Colton, 14-8.

Colton entered the game with a 6-0 record, but gave up two touchdowns and could not come back.

* Montebello Schurr defeated Alhambra, 20-14.

Schurr staged a late goal-line stand and handed the Moors their first defeat.

* Moreno Valley Canyon Springs defeated Riverside Arlington, 16-15.

Arlington was unbeaten and averaging more than 34 points. Canyon Springs had lost four of its last five games.
