Poly-De La Salle Tickets Go on Sale This Month

Tickets for Long Beach Poly’s football game against Concord De La Salle on Oct. 6 at Long Beach Veterans Stadium , pitting the top two teams in the nation, according to several national publications, go on sale beginning Sept. 15 from 8 a.m.-noon at Poly High, located at 1600 Atlantic Ave.

Tickets will also be available at the school from 4-6 p.m. on Sept. 19, 8 a.m.-noon on Sept. 22 and 4-6 p.m. on Sept. 26. Tickets will be sold at Veterans Stadium from 8 a.m.-noon on Sept. 29.

Ticket prices are $15 for reserved and $10 for general admission. There will be no discount for children.

The stadium’s capacity of 12,500 will be increased by several thousand with the addition of temporary bleachers, Poly Coach Raul Lara said. Poly may get a chance to end De La Salle’s national-record winning streak. The Spartans head into the season having won 113 consecutive games dating to 1991. Poly is 27-0-1 the last two seasons.

The game will be televised live by Fox Sports Net 2.
