Little League Fathers Take Bat to One Another
An argument about their sons’ Little League team turned into a bat fight that landed two fathers in the hospital recently, Siskiyou County sheriff’s officials said.
Both men could now face felony assault charges. Sheriff’s officials said William Burrier, 37, of Newell, and Gary Fensler, 39, beat one another with a bat Friday at the Staub Petroleum bulk plant, where Burrier was employed. The men had reportedly argued Thursday night.
Both men were transported to Merle West Medical Center in Klamath Falls, Ore., where they were treated and released.
