A Simi Valley woman has died from injuries suffered three weeks ago in a car crash on the Ronald Reagan Freeway, authorities said Saturday.
Eileen Riske, 59, was pronounced dead about 6 p.m. Friday at Simi Valley Hospital, where she had been treated since the crash April 7, said James Baroni, a senior deputy medical examiner for Ventura County.
Riske and her husband were on the freeway near Madera Road when they slowed for traffic and were rear-ended by a tractor-trailer, Baroni said. Riske’s husband, Frederick Riske, also 59, survived.
