Two teachers living in Ventura County have been selected for Fulbright scholar grants.
Sharon Radashaw of Newbury Park and Elise Stewart of Camarillo will join six other American educators on a trip to Turkey this summer to study the history, music and culture of the region.
Stewart is a history teacher at Monte Vista Intermediate School in Camarillo, and Radashaw teaches music and drama at Lawrence Middle School in Chatsworth.
Both women have won Fulbright awards before--Radashaw traveled to Romania and Bulgaria in 1997, and Stewart went to India three years ago.
