* Santa Ana Foothill running back Mike Liti shook off two shoulder injuries to rush for 182 yards and three touchdowns as the Knights defeated La Mirada, 35-21, in Division VI to advance to their first semifinal since 1992.
* Mission Viejo end Justin Williams had four sacks in a 48-14 Division II quarterfinal victory over Canyon Country Canyon.
UPSETS
* Los Angeles Loyola defeated Bellflower St. John Bosco, No. 5 in The Times’ final regular-season rankings, 38-8, in a Division I quarterfinal. St. John Bosco ran only 35 offensive plays to Loyola’s 62.
* San Clemente defeated No. 9 Chino, 13-9, in a Division II quarterfinal. Triton quarterback Brad Budde completed 14 of 25 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns.
* Orange El Modena defeated No. 23 Orange Lutheran, 24-0. Daniel Dixon rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns in a Division VI quarterfinal.
