Pressure Supervisor to Save Precious Rancho
Neither tanks nor mountain lions do well with 14,000 houses or golf courses as neighbors. Thank you to Maj. Gen. William G. Bowdon, speaking for Camp Pendleton, for bringing reality to the misconceived plan to develop Rancho Mission Viejo’s 24,000 acres.
The Nature Conservancy wants to work with state and federal funds to buy this precious last open habitat for the public. We need a willing seller. If Supervisor Tom Wilson is pressured to keep the zoning of this land as it is, this goal will be achieved.
