Coroner Probes Cause of Woman’s Death
Police reiterated Monday that they have unspecified information that Yolanda Schlessinger, the mother of talk show personality Laura Schlessinger, was the victim of a homicide and are pursuing an investigation.
But the Los Angeles County coroner’s office has not determined whether it was a homicide, and may not for weeks yet, pending the completion of toxicological and other tests, said the office spokesman, Capt. David Campbell.
The body of Schlessinger, 77, was found in her home last week. She may have been dead as long as two months, authorities said.
