Robert Yim of Glendale, the top boys’ tennis player in Southern California, will not compete for Glendale High this season.
Yim, a junior who will be 17 on Monday, , is enrolled in a home-schooling program and will focus on playing tennis tournaments, said Glendale Coach Bob Davidson. The left-hander is ranked No. 22 in the world.
