$100,000 Reward for Guard’s Killer
Anaheim police on Thursday released sketches of a man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a Brinks armored truck guard and taking $20,000 in $1 bills.
Brinks Inc. also offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the death of Ricardo Gomez, who was gunned down Dec. 17 as he picked up cash from a catering company.
Gomez, 29, was shot once in the head when he was confronted by a gunman in a hallway at Orange County Food Services. The killer ran away after the 1:20 p.m. robbery.
The gunman is described as white, in his late 30s, about 200 pounds and about 6 feet tall. He has a medium build and short, light-colored hair.
