Westlake 94, Los Angeles Loyola 87--Sophomore Bryce Taylor scored 28 points, senior Craig Weinstein had 22 and sophomore Evan Harris had 17 to help host Harvard-Westlake overcome a 13-point first-half deficit and upset the 16th-ranked Cubs in a Mission League game.

There were seven lead changes in the fourth quarter before Harvard-Westlake (13-3, 2-1) took charge behind Weinstein, who made eight of nine free throws in the quarter.

Harvard-Westlake made 19 of 21 free throws in the fourth quarter and 31 of 37 in the game.

Chris Rucker scored 26 points and Vince Oliver added 22 for Loyola (11-3, 0-1).

Omar Wilkes, the Cubs’ leading scorer, was limited to 10 points and made only three of 15 shots in the game.
