A branch of Affinity Bank in downtown Ventura was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money Friday afternoon, federal authorities said.
The holdup took place after 3 p.m. when an unarmed man told a teller to give him bills that had not been marked or bundled with any type of security device.
The robber stuffed cash inside two Federal Express cardboard envelopes and walked out the back door of the bank at Santa Clara and Chestnut streets.
No one was injured. No arrests had been made by late Friday.
