Ali Krasnapolsky, Daron Moore and Cheyenne Reveche, North Hollywood Campbell Hall: Each swept their singles sets without losing a game in an 11-7 victory over Newhall Hart in a Southern Section Division III first-round match.

Hillary Havens, Costa Mesa: Won her singles sets, 6-1, 6-1, 6-1, in a 10-8 victory over Covina in a Division V first-round match.

Cori Dayton, Mission Viejo: Had 31 kills and 23 digs in a 15-3, 15-4, 8-15, 16-14 victory over Walnut in a Division I-A second-round match.

Nancy Marin, Cerritos Gahr: Had 41 kills in a 13-15, 16-14, 15-7, 13-15, 15-10 victory over Lakewood Mayfair in a Division II-A first-round match.

Jaimarie Sutherland, Fullerton: Had 22 kills and 13 digs in a 15-11, 14-16, 15-10, 15-3 victory over Paloma Valley in a Division II-A first-round match.

Suzanne Swenson, La Canada: Had 20 kills and six blocks in a 15-10, 11-15, 15-12, 15-12 victory over Ojai Nordhoff in a Division III-A first-round game.

Andrea Monroe, Pasadena Poly: Had 17 kills and five blocks in a 15-12, 17-15, 15-6 victory over Frazier Mountain in a Division IV-A second-round match.
