A.J. Moskus, Irvine University: Scored 36 points in an 82-79 loss to San Clemente in a nonleague game.

Paul Janczyk, San Juan Capistrano St. Margaret’s: Had 28 points and 13 rebounds in a 75-63 victory over Anaheim Servite, helping the Tartans improve to 14-0.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Angelynn Dorotheo, Canyon Country Canyon: Had 23 points, six rebounds and was 10 for 11 from the free-throw line in 59-52 victory over Quartz Hill.

Brandi Kimble, Lynwood: Scored 11 of her 17 points in the first quarter of a 74-60 victory over Gillette (Wyo.) Campbell County in championship of Gillette Campbell County tournament.

Meghan McGuire, Fullerton Troy: Led the 13th-ranked Warriors with 21 points and 14 rebounds in a 59-44 upset victory over No. 9 Santa Ana Mater Dei.

Lindsey Shiomi, Whittier Christian: Scored 29 points, hitting six three-pointers, in a 54-49 victory over Pomona.

Evelyn Gomez, Garden Grove Santiago: Scored 29 points, including a game-winning four-foot jump shot with three seconds left to give Cavaliers a 52-51 victory over Anaheim Katella in third-place game of Santiago tournament.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Kim Walter, L.A. Loyola: Had nine saves in 2-0 victory over third-ranked Santa Ana Mater Dei, giving him six shutouts this season.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

Anne Belden, Newport Harbor: Scored four goals for third-ranked Sailors in 13-3 victory over visiting Carlsbad.
