Ruben Boykin, L.A. University: Scored 34 points and added 17 rebounds in a 54-51 Western League win over Los Angeles.

Michael Moreno, Hacienda Heights Wilson: Scored 32 points and had 11 rebounds in a 63-59 Miramonte League victory over La Verne Bonita.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Randalina Robinson, L.A. University: Scored 36 points and had 16 rebounds to lead L.A. University to its first Western League win in three seasons -- a 55-47 victory over Los Angeles.

Lauren Ervin, Inglewood: Scored 19 points and had 26 rebounds, seven assists, four blocks and four steals in a 52-39 Bay/Ocean leagues crossover victory over North Torrance.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Scott Corbin and Matt Schirmer, Santa Ana Mater Dei: Scored a goal each to lead the Monarchs, ranked No. 8 by The Times, to a 2-1 Serra League upset of top-ranked Santa Margarita.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

Marisela Pasos, Woodland Hills Louisville: Scored seven times and had two assists in a 13-7 Mission League win over Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
