Pippen Back With the Bulls
Scottie Pippen has re-signed with the Chicago Bulls, the team he helped lead to six NBA championships.
The Bulls will have an official announcement today, team spokesman Tim Hallam said Saturday night.
Terms of the deal were not released, but a source in the NBA, speaking on condition of anonymity, said it was a $10-million, two-year deal.
Pippen, 37, was a seven-time All-Star in his 11 seasons with the Bulls before leaving for the Houston Rockets before the 1999 season.
He has spent the last four seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged 10.8 points and a team-high 4.4 assists last season.

Free-agent forward Samaki Walker has been charged with drunken driving after an accident earlier this month.
Walker, who spent the last two seasons with the Lakers, lost control of his vehicle about 20 miles east of Columbus, Ohio, on July 9, Highway Patrol dispatcher Pat Snelling said.
Walker’s vehicle rolled over, partially ejecting him. He was treated at a hospital and later released.
He also was charged with failure to maintain control of a vehicle and not wearing a seat belt.
Laker spokesman John Black said he was not aware of the charges and had no further comment. Walker is an unrestricted free agent and is not expected to be re-signed.
