Boy Is Shot While Eating at Sidewalk Table

A 17-year-old Lincoln Heights boy was shot in an apparent drive-by as he was eating at a sidewalk restaurant table with friends on Friday afternoon.
Assailants driving past Dino’s fast-food restaurant at Griffin Avenue and Broadway in Lincoln Heights fired three shots, one of which grazed the boy’s neck, police said. He was treated at a hospital, but the wound wasn’t serious.
Police said it was not clear whether the boy had been targeted.
