North Hollywood Campbell Hall and Brentwood, the No. 1- and 2-ranked teams in the Southern Section Division III poll, will meet in an Olympic League girls’ tennis match at 3 p.m. today at Valley College.

Campbell Hall has been waiting for another chance to play the Eagles after Brentwood defeated the Vikings three times last year by 10-8 scores.

“I see 10-8 in my sleep,” Campbell Hall Coach Steve Kuechel said. “We’re a heck of a lot better than last year, though.”

Campbell Hall (10-0, 2-0), led by a top-notch singles lineup, is ranked No. 2 in the Southland by The Times and Brentwood (5-3, 2-0) is No. 10.

Brentwood has been battling injuries, and No. 1 singles player Austin Hansen has been sidelined the past week and is unlikely to play today because of lower-back pain. No. 2 singles player Shoshana Rosenthal has a sore shoulder and No. 2 doubles player Jaren Boczan has a torn right biceps.
