Los Angeles Marymount, winner of three major tournament titles, is not expected to be challenged the remainder of the season or in the Southern Section or state playoffs because it plays in a relatively weak division. Huntington Beach Edison defeated Los Alamitos a second time and plays host to Anaheim Esperanza on Wednesday. Torrance Bishop Montgomery, Manhattan Beach Mira Costa and Newport Harbor face tough competition at Santa Barbara tournament Friday and Saturday.
