Bike Racer Stable After Car Crash
Professional BMX rider Cory Nastazio was in critical but stable condition at Riverside Community Hospital on Tuesday after suffering a punctured right lung and brain hemorrhage in a weekend car crash.
Nastazio, 25, was in a medically induced coma to speed healing, said Kimarie Hunt, his manager. “We do expect a full recovery,” Hunt said.
Nastazio, who lives in Riverside County, was driving alone in a car that crashed into a tree Saturday afternoon. The crash was under investigation.
