* Brian Stevens, Ventura Buena: Pitched a five-hitter with 10 strikeouts and three walks in a 4-3 Channel League victory over No. 24 Santa Barbara. Colin Timmons and Stevens led off the fourth inning with consecutive home runs to give the No. 22 Bulldogs a 4-1 lead.

* Randall Schwecke, Cerritos Gahr: Doubled in Aaron Nebergall for the winning run in the sixth inning, and freshman Joe Park had two hits and two stolen bases for the No. 23 Gladiators in a 2-1 San Gabriel Valley League victory over Paramount.

SOFTBALL

* Krista Seeman, Irvine Woodbridge: Scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning and was the winning pitcher for the Warriors in a 3-2 Sea View League upset of No. 18 Santa Ana Foothill.

* Kelly Cordeiro, Thousand Oaks: Was five for six, including a two-run double to break a 4-4 tie in the 11th inning, for the No. 11 Lancers in an 8-4 Marmonte League victory at Agoura. Cordeiro set the school’s single-game record for most hits.

BOYS’ GOLF

* Kevin Fitzgerald, Riverside Poly: Earned medalist honors, shooting a one-over-par 73, to lead the No. 7 Bears to their 10th consecutive Ivy League title with a 377-479 victory over Riverside Arlington at Victoria Club.

BOYS’ TENNIS

* Logan Bailey and Jon Vlasach, Redondo: Swept, 6-3, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 1 doubles and improved their season record to 45-1 for the No. 8 Seahawks in a 16-3 Ocean League victory at Palos Verdes.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

* John Thomas and Dylan Bowermaster, Santa Ana Mater Dei: Each had 17 kills and Tyler Bayer had 42 assists for the Monarchs in a 26-28, 25-13, 17-25, 25-23, 16-14 Serra League upset of No. 6 Santa Margarita.
