Suspect in Killing at Stadium Is Arrested

A man wanted in the fatal stabbing of a fan leaving a San Francisco Giant game was arrested Friday while attempting to reenter the United States from Mexico, authorities said.
Rafael Cuevas, 22, of Daly City was caught a week after police issued a warrant for his arrest. He is accused of killing Timothy Griffith, 21, at SBC Park on Sept. 17, the night Barry Bonds hit his 700th home run.
Cuevas was discovered during a routine anti-terrorism surveillance check at Nogales, Ariz.
