Dolphins-Steelers Now a Night Game
Hurricane Jeanne forced the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers to move their game to prime time today.
The teams and the league agreed to move the starting time from 1 p.m. EDT to 8:30 p.m. because the hurricane was expected to bring significant wind and rain to South Florida late Saturday night and early today.
But the Dolphins said the game time could change again.
“We all intend to reassess the situation following the aftermath of the storm in the morning and make a final decision at that point,” team President Eddie Jones said Saturday.

New York Giant safety Shaun Williams will undergo surgery on his left knee Monday for damaged cartilage.
Williams, a seven-year veteran from UCLA, injured the knee making an interception during practice Friday and underwent an MRI exam. It was not known how long he would be sidelined.

Quarterback Mark Brunell will start for the Washington Redskins on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys, having recovered sufficiently from a strained hamstring. He took most of the snaps during drills Saturday, and Coach Joe Gibbs announced his decision after the practice. Brunell said the hamstring had improved every day.
