Man Sought in Slayings Is Found in Nevada
A man wanted for questioning in the slayings of his brother and his brother’s wife at their La Habra home was found Friday in Nevada, officials said.
Alfred A. Renteria, 58, of La Habra was found at a Tonopah motel about 8:30 a.m., La Habra police said. Officials also found the couple’s vehicle.
James Renteria, 71, and his wife, Bernice, 68, were found shot to death Monday inside their home on Greenbrier Lane.
Alfred Renteria is being held on a no-bail arrest warrant.
Investigators were in Nevada to begin extradition proceedings.
