GIRLS’ SOCCER

* Jenna Peek, La Verne Bonita: Scored twice in overtime to lift the Bearcats, ranked fifth in Division III, to a 5-3 Miramonte League victory over Hacienda Heights Los Altos, extending their league unbeaten streak to 134 games.

* Christina Clifford, Huntington Beach Edison: Scored off a corner kick by Brenna Boies in the 80th minute to give the Chargers a 1-0 Sunset League victory over Anaheim Esperanza, ranked No. 7 in Division I.
