* Ricardo Arias, Santa Maria: Goalie did not allow a goal during a penalty kicks shootout, preserving a Division IV semifinal victory over Riverside Norte Vista.

* Jessica Sharpe, Fullerton Sunny Hills: Scored twice in the final 15 minutes of a 2-1 upset over top-seeded Lakewood Mayfair in a Division III semifinal.

* Samantha Koza, Whittier La Serna: Scored two goals, including the winner in overtime, as La Serna beat defending champion Phelan Serrano, 3-2, in a Division IV semifinal.
