Highlights of this week’s high school football schedule:

* Harbor City Narbonne (6-4, 4-0) at San Pedro (7-2, 4-0), 7 tonight: With the Marine League championship on the line, these teams will try to pound it out in the trenches and on the ground. San Pedro could have two 1,000-yard rushers this season: Devin Carter has gained 1,068 yards, and Jvone Hibbler has 929. San Pedro’s top player is USC-bound lineman Zack Heberer. Narbonne played the tougher nonleague schedule and might be more prepared for the big-game atmosphere.

* Chino Hills (9-0, 4-0) at Chino (8-1, 4-0), 7 tonight: Chino won the teams’ first two meetings, including last year’s game, 21-18, and has outscored Chino Hills against comparable opponents this season. Chino has given up more than 14 points only once, never more than 21, and is averaging 33.5 points behind running back Ryan Stanford (21 touchdowns) and quarterback Art Gracia. Chino Hills, which has won 18 of its last 21, is averaging 233 yards rushing, mostly from Michael Harris and Wade O’Neill, who average six yards a carry.

* Colton (8-1, 6-0) vs. Redlands East Valley (8-0-1, 6-0) at University of Redlands, 7:30 p.m. Friday: Colton, ranked No. 17 in the Southland by The Times, is trying to win its second league title since moving to the Citrus Belt League last season. Bradley Sorensen has thrown only 87 passes (72.4%, 22 touchdowns, two interceptions), but running backs Shareece Wright and Allen Bradford average a touchdown every 4.9 times one of them touches the ball. Redlands East Valley’s Ronnie Fouch has thrown for 33 touchdowns with only three interceptions. The key will be the Wildcats’ ability to slow Colton’s offense.
