Train-Truck Crash Causes Minor Injuries

An Amtrak train carrying more than 150 passengers struck a tractor-trailer rig in this small San Joaquin Valley town Friday afternoon, and two passengers suffered minor injuries, Amtrak officials said.
The train was heading from Oakland to Bakersfield when the locomotive clipped the back of a truck at a grade crossing about 10 miles north of Modesto, the officials said. The truck driver was not injured.
