A man who was shot in front of his apartment Tuesday staggered downstairs where he died, authorities said.
Gary Gault Williams, 38, a self-described artist, had lived alone for several years in the complex in the 6200 block of Reseda Boulevard. He was shot multiple times near his front door by a man in his late 20s or early 30s, who fled, said Los Angeles Police Det. Rick Swanston.
Anyone with information is asked to call homicide detectives at (818) 374-7721.
