COMING ATTRACTIONS

Share

This week’s highlight is a college game, Ohio State at Florida on Saturday (1 p.m., CBS), featuring two of the top three picks in next spring’s NBA draft -- if they come out -- and as many as four more first-rounders.

The big matchup is 7-foot Buckeyes freshman Greg Oden, the consensus top pick, vs. 6-11 Gators junior Joakim Noah, the outstanding player of last spring’s Final Four who would have been the No. 1 pick had he turned pro.

Making the ’07 draft more intriguing, no one is sure how the top three prospects should go. Noah has to show he’s as good as Oden or Texas freshman Kevin Durant. Durant, who’s a twiggy 6-9 and 225 pounds, is so polished, some scouts wonder if he should be No. 1.

Florida’s 6-9 Al Horford is also a consensus top-10 pick. Teammates Taurean Green and Corey Brewer are potential first-rounders, as is Ohio State freshman Daequan Cook.
