A car traveling at more than 100 mph on the Riverside Freeway on Wednesday morning hit another car and flipped five times. The driver survived but fled on foot, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

Officer Denise Quesada said the unidentified driver lost control of a Mitsubishi Lancer traveling westbound near State College Boulevard in Anaheim and clipped a Nissan Altima driven by Alice Taylor. The Nissan also flipped over in the 1:02 a.m. collision.

Taylor, 50, of Anaheim, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Anaheim Memorial Medical Center, Quesada said.
