Gunshots at party leave 2 dead
Two teenagers were shot and killed early Sunday after a confrontation outside a party ended in gunfire, police said.
The male victims -- ages 16 and 18 -- were confronted in the driveway of a home in the 1800 block of Enterprise Avenue shortly after midnight by an unknown assailant who was not a guest at the party, police said. The shooter fired several rounds from a handgun, striking both victims in their upper torso before fleeing.
The 18-year-old died at the scene, and the 16-year-old was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, where he died, police said.
Their names were not released.
